Margaret Dolores Stevens passed away peacefully on March 22, 2022.

She was born to Charles and Edith Hirschmann on October 16, 1931. Margaret was born on a farm and moved to the city but after her marriage to Walter C. Stevens Sr. in 1948 she moved to Arnold because she wanted to raise her children in the country. She worked for Anne Arundel county public schools for over 20 years in Food services and was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Severna Park. Margaret was an avid romance novel reader, watched her soap operas every day, spoiled her pets, donated generously to various charities, and above all was a dedicated mother.

She is survived by her four children, Susan Gillham, Elaine Kossakowski, Walter Stevens, and Laurie Benefiel as well as six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday March 26, 2022 at 10 am at Lorraine Park Cemetery, 5608 Dogwood Rd Baltimore MD, 21207.
