Margaret Reusing, age 88, passed away September 27, 2026 at Cypress Creek Assisted Living, Severna Park, Maryland, following a brief illness.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Ray Reusing, her brothers William, Jean and John Cronmiller, and her sisters Alice Burris, Betty Duvall, and Harriet Cronmiller. She is survived by her only daughter, Margaret Bem, her son-in-law, Douglas Bem, two grandchildren, Jennifer Ajello (Andrew) and Matthew Bem (Jamie), two adorable great-grandchildren, Aria Ajello and Anthony Ajello, and her fur grand-dog, Leo. 

Family was extremely important to Margaret, and in addition to her immediate family, she left many nieces and nephews whom she loved and cared for very much.

Margaret was loved and treasured by everyone who knew her, both in her former career with the operations staff at Anne Arundel County Public Schools, and by the residents and staff at Cypress Creek. She was a Mom-Mom or Grandma to anyone who needed a comforting hug or kind words. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and her daily daytime TV "stories" which she loved to talk about with visitors and friends.

In lieu of a service, there will be a celebration of life to be announced later.
