Margaret Preisser
Margaret D. Preisser, 69, a resident of Arnold for 30 years and formerly of Annapolis for 11 years, died of sudden heart failure Aug. 2 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Mrs. Preisser was born April 4, 1938, and reared in West Orange, N.J. She earned an associate's degree in substance abuse counseling from Anne Arundel Community College.
She was a retired seamstress and an active member of the Hopeful Wheelers Group. She was also involved with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Maryland and the Edgemeade School in Upper Marlboro, where she was a longtime board member.
Her interests included bowling, gardening and animals.
She was the widow of Warren G. Preisser.
Surviving are three daughters, Teresa L. Everett of Arnold, Gwendolyn M. Jones of Milton, Del., and Deborah A. Krisko of Danvers, Mass.; one son, Brian A. Jones of Annapolis; one brother, Richard Daum of Wayne, N.J.; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Burial is private.
