Margaret Elizabeth Nickel, of Annapolis, passed away on December 26, 2021 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on April 30, 1938 to Spencer and Margaret Jones. She was raised in Arnold, MD and attended Annapolis High School. Margaret was an honorary Ravens Roost member and loved to cheer on the Ravens and Orioles. She enjoyed playing bingo and completing word search puzzles. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Spencer Jones, as well as her sister, Mary Mayo. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Horton of Bonneau, SC, and Michele Truelove and Son-in-Law Glenn Truelove of Annapolis, MD; her siblings Evelyn Lomboy of St. Leonard, MD, Spencer "Bobby" Jones of Millersville, MD, and William Jones of Annapolis, MD; as well as her beloved grandchildren, Angela Warkenthien, Nicole Hysmith, Dallas Truelove, and Lesley Truelove, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD, 21146. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 11am at the funeral home. Burial is to follow to Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, MD.
