Margaret Mary Lippmann (née Bilotta), of Glen Burnie, MD passed away peacefully on May 17, 2023 at the age of 91 at her home in Glen Burnie. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was born on January 6, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA to her late parents James and Helen Bilotta. Peggy, as she was called, met the love of her life on the front stoop of her home in Philadelphia well before she graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in 1949. Having married Robert E. Lippmann in May of 1950, she embarked on what she always considered an exciting adventure, moving around the country as the wife of an officer in the United States Marine Corps. The two finally settled down in Anne Arundel County Maryland. Peggy worked several jobs throughout her life before retiring from the United States Naval Academy. She was most proud of her work in raising her children and providing a loving and supportive home. Peggy had six children, eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Lippmann, she is survived by her loving children, Patricia Reichert, William Lippmann, Ronald Lippmann, Terrence Lippmann; eight grandchildren - Michelle Imbach, Ben Lippmann, Jessica Reichert, Margeaux German, Alec Lippmann, Christopher Lippmann, Seth Lippmann, and Amanda Lippmann; and 7 great grandchildren - Delilah, Quentin, Alec, Maxwell, Benjamin, Emmalyn, and Victoria. She was the dearly loved sister of the late Elizabeth (Betty) Rondamanski and the late Evelyn Monkiewicz. She is also predeceased by her sons James and Robert.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday May 27, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. Visitation will be held after the Mass on Saturday May 27, 2023 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home and Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146.
