Margaret Veronica Ellis, 89, of Millersville, died of a heart attack Feb. 13 at North Arundel Hospital.

Mrs. Ellis was born in Gary, Ind., on June 17, 1915. She was married to William H. Ellis who died in 1976.

She retired from Chrysler Corp. in Michigan. She lived in Roseville, Mich., until 1988 when she moved to Maryland and became an active member and volunteer at the Arnold Senior Citizen. She enjoyed bingo, reading and animals.

Surviving are her son, Richard J. Ellis of Millersville; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one brother, Ernest Choka of Detroit, Mich.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Mich., with services at noon and burial to follow. Local arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made to www.barrancofuneralhome.com .
