Margaret Kathryn (O'Hagerty) Cadorette, 98, of Arnold, MD passed peacefully on February 7, 2023 at 9:10 AM due to Congestive Heart Failure and Renal Failure, surrounded by her loving family.

Margaret was born September 13, 1924 in Adams, MA where she was raised. She attended Adams Elementary and High Schools. She graduated from Massachusetts State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. While at Amherst, she married John W Cadorette, Sr. In 1948 they moved the family to Annapolis, MD.

Margaret worked as an Engineering Assistant with Pratt Whitney Aircraft in Hartford, CT, was a full time mother and homemaker, and was the founding Library Media Specialist with St John the Evangelist School in Severna Park, MD.

She was a member of the choir at St John the Evangelist Church, and subsequently at St Andrew by the Bay Church. She was a long time member of the Arundelair Chorus of Sweet Adelines and the Encore Chorale. She was, also, a longtime volunteer at the Broadneck Library.

Margaret avidly enjoyed reading, singing, knitting, sewing, crossword puzzles, traveling, sailing, architecture, people and genealogy. She was a woman of strong convictions who generously accepted divergent views. She was a zealous mentor to many.

She is survived by her three sons, John W Cadorette, Jr (Eunice) of North Attleboro, MA, Lee P Cadorette of Austin, TX, and Russell R Cadorette (John Harrington) of Arnold, MD; three daughters, Johanna M Grieve (Douglas) of Beaufort, NC, M Kathryn Cadorette of Greenbelt, MD, and Veronica R Cadorette (Garie Kytchen) of Pilot, VA; four grandchildren, Christopher (Amber), Noel (Emily), Eunice (Jomo), and Audre; six great-grandchildren, Conor, Olivia, Abrianna, Theman, Lincoln and Angela; nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity or program of one's choice.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday June 24, 2023 from 2:00pm-4:00PM & 6:00PM-8:00PM at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. A Mass of Christian burial will be Celebrated on Monday June 26, 2023 at 11:00am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church 689 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment Glen Haven Cemetery.
