Margaret (Margie) Malatak Bonner, 93, passed away peacefully at Inspirations Memory Care of Westminster, MD on March 9, 2023.

Born and raised in Nesquehoning, PA, she received her nursing degree in Anesthesiology and married Raymond Eugene Bonner.  Soon after, they moved to New Carrollton, MD where Margie worked at Prince George's Hospital Center and DC General Hospital. They raised their three children in New Carrollton, then retired to Marriottsville, MD.  Margie was married for 45 years to her beloved husband, Raymond, who predeceased her in 2000. She loved gardening, landscaping and caring for her children and grandchildren.

Margie was the loving mother of Raymond Bonner (Loretta) of Garrett Park MD, Paula Bonner of Sykesville MD, Joseph Bonner (Lynn) of Millersville MD, and grandmother of 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She is predeceased by her two sisters, Mary Schulter of East Brunswick, NJ and Helen Doeler of Toms River, NJ.

Friends may visit at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146, on Sunday, March 12 ^th , from 5-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church in Severna Park, on Monday, March 13 ^th , at 10am.

The burial will be held on Thursday, March 16 ^th , at 11:30am, at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Cemetery, E Catawissa St, Nesquehoning, PA 18240.
