IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margaret "Peggy"
Ann O'Connor
September 9, 1955 – June 17, 2025
Adored wife, sister, and mother Margaret (Peggy) O'Connor, 69, of Glen Burnie, passed away peacefully alongside those she loved on June 17, 2025.
She was born on September 9, 1955 to the late Margaret (Peg) Bednarsky and Vincent Bednarsky.
Fondly remembered for her decades in social work, Peggy's compassionate heart was only matched by her infectious need to lend an ear to those who needed it.
Among those she helped, she was especially known for her love of children, and had a gift for being able to make any struggling youth smile.
But despite her love of assisting others, many would tell you her heart belonged to her family, dedicating her life to raise her only grandson.
Whether she was spending time with her husband, mother, children, or siblings her favorite pastime was anything that involved her loved ones standing by her.
She cherished her family and viewed any time with them as a blessing.
Deeply loved and enjoyed by all who had the pleasure of encountering her, she is survived by her husband, Bill O'Connor, her sister Mary Kay Black, her daughter and son Kim and Mike Zehmer, nieces and nephew Jessica, Lyndsey, Mary, Avery, and Mason, and her grandson Austin Winkler.
