MARGARET THOMPSON ALMOND, 87, passed peacefully in her sleep the morning of Sunday, December 10, 2006 in her home at College Manor in Lutherville, MD. Margie was a model until she was 80 and a volunteer at the former Children's Hospital and Trinity Church's Surprise Shop for many years. Her first husband was Richard Channing Jenifer (Dixie), who passed after only a year and a half of marriage. Her second husband, Saunders Mann Almond, III (Sonny) passed November 25, 1994. They divorced in 1969. Margie is survived by her daughter, Jenifer Howard Almond, and Jenifer's husband, Blake Martin Richardson of Baltimore City; her son, Saunders Mann Almond, III (Sandy) and his wife, Monica Munoz Almond of Port Orford, OR; Margie's son, John Howard Almond and his wife, Margaret Hoffecker Almond; and Margie's two grandchildren, Sandy's and Monica's sons, Saunders Mann Almond, IV (Sonny), and Hercules Emanuel Almond (Herc).

Funeral services will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m,. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Margie to Trinity Church, 120 Allegheny Ave., Towson, MD 21204.
