Malcolm Joseph Washington, 18, of Glen Burnie, passed away at his home on April 24, 2012 after a life-long illness with Lymphoma/Wiskcot Aldrich Syndrome.
Malcolm was born to his parents, David Norfleet and Gwendolyn Washington on January 18, 1994 in Baltimore, MD and raised in Glen Burnie, where he attended Glen Burnie High School.
Malcolm was a member of the John Wesley Church, where he was Baptized on August 7, 2011. He also was the Student Government President. He enjoyed drawing, writing poems, and playing the cello, clarinet and violin. He loved his family.
Malcolm is survived by his mother, Gwendolyn Washington of Glen Burnie; his father, David Norfleet of Baltimore; his brothers, Shareef Washington of Dundalk, MD, Romelle Sanks of Suwanee, GA, Kasim Sanks of Essex, MD, and Brian Sanks of Laurel, MD; his sisters, Johnita Argro of Glen Burnie, MD and Kiani Washington of Glen Burnie, MD; his grandfather, David Norfleet, Sr. of Baltimore, MD; as well as, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Barranco & Son, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 7:00 pm at John Wesley United Methodist Church, 6922 N. Ritchie Hwy. Glen Burnie, MD 21061. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
