Magdalene (Madge) Valle (nee Ustaszewski), 85, a resident of Severna Park, MD, died on August 10, 2011 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Severna Park.

She was born on July 4, 1926 in Baltimore, where she was raised, attending Holy Rosary Elementary, and graduating from Notre Dame Prep School.

Mrs. Valle was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Joseph Andrew Valle, USAF, who died in May 2001.

She was married in 1946 and lived in Baltimore City until 1961, until they moved to Bayberry on the Magothy in Arnold.

Mrs. Valle was a dedicated teacher who taught 2nd grade at St. John the Evangelist Church in Severna Park and then at St. Mary's School in Annapolis, before retiring in 1988. She was an active parishioner of St. John the Evangelist.

She was an incredible cook and entertainer, enjoyed singing, playing the piano, and putting on school plays. She also was a very skilled seamstress.

A Memorial Visitation will be on Friday, August 12, 2011 from 5-7 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park.
A Memorial Mass will be on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 11:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park.

Survivors include her son, Paul Joseph Valle of Oregon; daughter, Mary Valle Cashdollar of Hanover, PA; son, Mark Anthony Valle of Severna Park; son, Kevin Philip Valle of Falmouth, ME; son, Brian Donald Valle of Severna Park; 22 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
