Madge R. Snowden (Valle), born December 30, 1918 in Rochester, NY died, peacefully in her daughter's home on March 3, 2013.

Madge moved to Baltimore, MD with her family at the tender age of 3, where she resided until 1944.
She married Elmer W. Snowden Jr. on January 12, 1941 and they were blessed with a daughter Patricia J. Pollock. Madge had a career as a beautician and loved her work for 31 years. Madge and her husband lived in Brooklyn, MD in 1971 moved to New Castle, DE and resided there until his death in December 2009. Madge was a member of St. Andrew by the Bay, when she moved to live with her daughter Patricia.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Madge is survived by her daughter Patricia J. Pollock (William), two grandsons, William Pollock Jr. (Jackie) and Patrick Pollock (Diana), four great grandchildren, Christy Lee Pollock, Cory Pollock, William Pollock III and Patrick Pollock Jr., and two great-great grandsons. In addition, she is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, 21146. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 08, 2013 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie.
