Madeline Saxon
Madeline Louise Saxon, 85, of Eustis, Fla., died of pneumonia Dec. 2 in her home after a short illness.
She was born Aug. 2, 1922, in Spring Gap, and moved to Eustis in 2005 from Mineral, Va.
A homemaker, she enjoyed playing Yahtzee and bingo, listening to country music, going to Disney World and collecting Disney memorabilia. Her children were very important to her. She was a Methodist and enjoyed the church service at her nursing home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew S. Saxon.
Survivors include three sons, Daniel W. Saxon of Eustis, Samuel G. Saxon of Severna Park, and William P. Saxon of Gettysburg, Va.; three daughters, Diane Demert of Mineral, Jane Rorer of Annapolis, and Jacquelyn Pitt of Pasadena; 20 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday at the funeral home.
