Madeline Rose Herlth, 81, of Annapolis, died of natural causes Feb. 19 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Annapolis after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Herlth was born Dec. 26, 1923, and raised in Baltimore. A homemaker, she lived in Annapolis for 43 years, and enjoyed crocheting, cooking, arts and crafts and spending time with her family.
The widow of George Louis Herlth, she is survived by three sons, George L. Herlth Jr. of Queenstown, William H. Herlth Sr. of Centreville and David Herlth Sr. of Greenfield, Tenn.; one sister, Rose Udemme of Baltimore; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Mary Moloney and the sister of the late Victor, Peter, Joseph, Richard and Albert Savalina, Anna Silkovitch and Yolanda Perna.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church, 701 College Parkway near Cape St. Claire Road. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
