It is with love and remembrance that we honor the life of Lynda Palardy Jacobs, born April 15, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland, who peacefully passed on December 13, 2024. Lynda was the devoted wife of Gerald S. Jacobs, whom she married on April 13, 1966, and the loving mother of Christopher Jacobs, cherished mother-in-law to Cara Jacobs, and proud grandmother to Rory and Harper.

Lynda's life journey took her from Baltimore to Millersville and Glen Burnie before making her home in Arnold, Maryland. A graduate of Southern High School in Baltimore City, she enjoyed a distinguished career as a federal employee with the Social Security Administration in Woodlawn, Maryland, before her well-earned retirement so she could watch her granddaughters grow.

An active member of the Severna Park Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks, Lynda had a deep love for her community, her family, and all animals. She was known for her generous spirit and her joy in life's simple pleasures, whether it was indulging her love of shopping or caring for those she held dear. Her legacy is one of kindness, warmth, and devotion.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County (donatenow.networkforgood.org/AACSPCA), an organization close to Lynda's heart.

Lynda's love, laughter, generosity and presence will be profoundly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
