Lynda June Blute, 56, a resident of Annapolis for 23 years, died of complications from cancer Sept. 19 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Blute was born June 16, 1950, in Harrogate, England, where she was reared and lived before moving to the United States. She was a past resident of Cupertino, Calif., for two and a half years.
While in England, she worked for the British Telecom Office for 15 years.
A homemaker and avid golfer, she also enjoyed travel.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur "Bill" Blute; two sons, Arthur Raymond Blute Jr. of Santa Cruz, Calif., and Richard Charles Blute of Palo Alto, Calif.; one sister, Pamela Mercer of Harrogate; one brother, David Webster of Weatherby, England; and three grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Burial is private. Online condolences can be made at www.barrancofuneralhome.com
