Luz G. Sabasa, 82, of Crofton, died of natural causes Feb. 10 at home after a lengthy illness.
Born Oct. 15, 1923, in Juban Sorsogon, the Philippines, Mrs. Sabasa formerly lived in Glen Burnie, Crofton and Norfolk and Virginia Beach, Va.
She worked as a midwife and was an military wife. She enjoyed dressmaking.
Surviving are her husband, Constancio Sabasa Sr.; two daughters, Norma Ceguerra of Manila, the Philippines, and Josephine Sabasa of Crofton; four sons, Constancio Sabasa Jr. of San Diego, Calif., Eugene Sabasa of Glen Burnie, Nepthali Sabasa of Crofton and Oscar Sabasa of Brooklyn Park; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church, 1070 Cecil Ave. in Millersville. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
