Lucien Real Vachon, of Arnold, passed away on September 26, 2022. He was born on July 23, 1930 to Emile and Corinne Vachon in Lewiston, Maine, where he was raised. Lucien was a member of the Air Force, retiring after 30 years of service. He spent time working at Safeway in various different positions. He loved God and his family and enjoyed listening to classic country music. He enjoyed watching all sports, shooting pool and drinking beer.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jeanne d'Arc Vachon. He is survived by his children, Vincent Vachon and his wife Jessie of Edgewater, MD, Marianne Marley of Arnold, MD, and Susan Kirby and her husband Paul of Pasadena, MD; as well as 10 adoring grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD, 21146. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 10am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. Interment is private.
