Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Thomas McCormick, 90, of Severna Park, died of natural causes Nov. 14 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Severna Park.

Born May 11, 1917, and reared in New Castle, Pa., Lt. Col. McCormick formerly lived in California, New York, Germany, Texas and Florida. He held a master's degree from the University of Omaha. After serving in the Air Force, he worked at the National Security Agency.

He was a member of the Shriners, the Elks and the Masons and enjoyed golf, dancing and bowling.

Surviving are his wife, Helen A. McCollum McCormick, whom he married on Jan. 23, 1943; one daughter, Diane Johnson of Severna Park; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Perry J. McCormick.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, with a service at 1 p.m.

Friends may meet at the Administration Building at Arlington National Cemetery at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 4 for services with military honors.
