Lt. Col. Jane Elizabeth Evans, 86, a resident of Severna Park, passed away on May 1, 2020 at Brightview Severna Park Assisted Living.

She was born on June 23, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Woodhaven, NY and previously lived in Florida, Texas, and California, before residing in Severna Park.

Jane served in the U.S. Army as a nurse during the Vietnam War and after a distinguished career retired as a Lieutenant Colo nel.

She is survived by 15 Bohan n a Cousins living throughout the US and Spain.

A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 1:00pm. For those attending, please arrive at the administration building at 12:15 pm with your photo ID.
