Louis True Sr.
Louis P. True Sr., 90, a 33-year resident of Pasadena, died of pneumonia Feb. 15 at Harbor Hospital after a five-week illness.
Mr. True was born Sept. 14, 1917, in Washington, D.C. Prior to settling in Pasadena, he had lived in Syracuse, N.Y., Kansas City, Mo., Bath, N.Y., and Williamsport, Pa.
He retired as a soil-testing laboratory supervisor after 37 years with the Army Corps of Engineers. He was also retired from the Baltimore City School system where he taught architectural drawing.
Mr. True was a member of the Glen Burnie Elks, the Writer's Guild and the Senior Golf League in Forest Park.
He was preceded in death on Jan. 4 by his wife of 65 years, Leona M. True.
Survivors include one son, Louis P. True Jr. of Columbia; one daughter, Carol Slicher of Pasadena; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
