Entered into rest on Thursday, January 30, 2025, Louis Frank Reda, 78, loving husband of 58 years to Cynthia Yoho Reda. Louis (Lou) was born in Ellwood City, PA, lived in Baltimore, MD and most recently in Martinez, GA for 31 years. Lou worked as an engineer for Westinghouse in Baltimore and most recently at the Savannah River Site.

He was a Sunday School Teacher for many years at Christ Lutheran Church in Millersville, MD. He was also the Director of Columbia County Cares for 6 years.

Lou was an incredibly outgoing person. Wherever he went, he made new friends, extending his family. He shared with them his love of Jesus and family; his sense of humor; his welcoming smile; his Italian heritage and his baseball team, the Baltimore Orioles. He shared his heart with everyone.

Family members, in addition to his wife Cindy, include his daughters: Renee Reda Spruill (Shane), and Becky Geldmacher (Allen); grandchildren: Nikki Garcia (Bernie) and Al Geldmacher; sister: Rachel Reda and brother: Jack Reda. Lou was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Rose Reda and brothers Nick Reda and Andy Reda.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at 11 am in Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.
