Lola Margaret Halas, 92, a resident of Arnold, MD, died on February 12, 2010 of natural causes at Genesis HealthCare in Severna Park.
She was born September 17, 1917 in North Fork Pound River, Wise County, Virginia and was raised in Birchfield, Wise County, Virginia. She graduated from Pound High School in Pound, Virginia. She was an Office Manager with John Halas Welding Company in Baltimore, MD.
Lola was very dedicated and loving to her family.
She was preceded in death by her stepson, Lloyd Halas.
She is survived by her son, Ellis L. Kincer; three grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit on Monday, February 22 from 10 AM -12:00 PM at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park, MD. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in New Cathedral Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
