Lois Marie Turner, 85, of Arnold, passed peacefully on December 31st 2021.

Born in Baltimore on March 22, 1936, she was a stay-at-home mom, helped raise many of her grandchildren and even a few nieces. Her interests were music, dancing, genealogy, ham radio, computers, and cleaning house. She also was a true animal lover and enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels; but most of all she loved her miniature American Eskimo dog and best friend Gibbs.

Those left to cherish her memories include her two daughters, Catherine Gray of Baltimore MD, and Carol Kuklane of Perry Hall MD; two sons, Joseph Turner and Steven Turner of the residence; eight grandchildren, Tammy Tudor, Phillip Gray, Mary McLaughlin, Ashley Collins, Michael Gray, Megan Pennington, Jennifer Peacock, Gabriel Kuklane and 15 great-grandchildren.

She joins her beloved husband Herman, husband of 50 years, her daughter Susan Marie Sowers and her grandson Christopher McLaughlin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 8424 Veterans Highway, Millersville, MD 21108 or SPCA of Anne Arundel County 1815 Bay Ridge Ave, Annapolis, MD 21403.

Family and Friends may visit on Thursday January 6, 2022 from 11:00am -12:00pm with a service to follow at 12:00pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment will be private.
