Lois Roy Callaway, 80, of Annapolis, died of heart failure June 22 at her home after a brief illness.
Born May 29, 1925, and raised in Milford, Maine, Mrs. Callaway attended Old Town High School in Maine and earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Maryland. She loved little children, her yard and her garden.
Surviving are a daughter, Deborah Callaway of Annapolis; a son, David Callaway of Ellicott City; six sisters, Jane Copley of Florida, Avis Gilly of New York and Judy and Sarah Roy, Marcia Osborne and Brenda Higgins; and two brothers, Joe Roy Jr. and Paul Roy, all of Maine; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
No services are planned and burial is private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
