Linda Murray Waksmunski (Nee: O'Malley), 77, of Severna Park, died at her home on July 1, 2016.

Linda was born to her parents, Murray D. and Catherine L. O'Malley on August 27, 1938 in Baltimore and was raised in Odenton, MD. She graduated from Arundel High School and attended the University of Maryland. Linda was employed at Westinghouse prior to her marriage to Chester Waksmunski. Once married, she stayed home to raise her four children with her husband, Chet.

Linda attended St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the Whitehurst Community Association, where she lived most of her married life. She actively volunteered in multiple organizations and groups in the community.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 42 years, Chester Waksmunski. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. Waksmunski of Baltimore; three sons, Mark A. Waksmunski (Janet) of Columbia, MD, Donald K. Waksmunski (Nancy) of West Friendship, MD and Bruce T. Waksmunski (Kim) of Crownsville, MD; her siblings, John F. O'Malley (Gloria) of Lafayette, LA, Katherine Wellford (Charles) of Round Hill, VA, Mary Sinclair (Late Ron) of Odenton and Judith Nowottnick (Clark) of Odenton; seven grandchildren, Katie, Megan, Christian, Maddie, Ethan, Jake and Camryn, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, July 8th at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy. in Severna Park with the interment to follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
