Linda Susan Morelock, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend – passed away at the age of 68 on December 15, 2022. Her devoted husband, brother, and two daughters helped care for her at home during her final days until she passed.

Linda was born in the DC area, and was raised in both Wheaton and Crofton, MD. She worked as an accountant for many of her years after high school and attended The University of Maryland while doing so.

She moved to Columbia, MD, where she raised her daughters and resided for about 30 years. Linda transitioned into various marketing and business development roles at architectural and engineering firms in the DC area. She sat on the board of directors for NAIOP as well. She met her husband, Mark Morelock, through her work and later married in 2000. In 2016, they bought their dream home on the water in Severna Park,where Linda spent much of her retired life enjoying her nearby daughters and six grandchildren.

Also in retirement, Linda rediscovered her passion for horseback riding. When she wasn't with her family, she was with her horse, JJ, and her barn friends which became as close as family. Linda loved the beach, boating with Mark, and spending time with the many friends that she acquired from all parts of her life.

Linda is preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie; and survived by her husband, Mark; her parents, Homer and Violet; her brother, Kevin; her daughters, Kim and Kelly; and her grandchildren, Austin, Jackson, Landon, Everly, Elle, and Vivienne.

A private Celebration of Life will be held for close friends and family at a later date.
