Linda Lee Henschen, 64, of Chestertown, MD and previously a resident of the Broadneck peninsula for 33 years, passed away suddenly on November 30th.
Linda was born and raised in the Hampden area of Baltimore city where she graduated from Eastern High School. In 1966, Linda married William R. Henschen and together they raised a family and owned and operated a very successful business, Hobby World, for 27 years. Linda most recently worked for AAA in Arnold, MD and she and Bill recently retired to a new home in Chestertown. In her spare time Linda loved to shop, dance, take road trips with her husband and spend time with her family and her cats.
She was preceded in death by her son, Todd S. Henschen.
Survivors include her husband, William R. Henschen, her brother, Richard L. Stafford, her son, John R. Henschen, and the lights of her life, her grandsons, Jack and Justin Henschen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 4th from 2-4pm and from 6-8pm at Barranco and Sons, PA Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy., Severna Park, MD 21146. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, December 5th at 11am with burial following the service at Woodlawn Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.
