IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda Lynn
Clark
March 7, 1947 – December 16, 2023
Linda Lynn Clark died peacefully on December 16, 2023 at the age of 76 in Annapolis, MD. She was born on March 7, 1947 in Queens NYC to parents John and Frances Kohl. She is survived by her husband Patrick Clark of 54 years, her son Craig and his wife Sally of Austin, Texas; and by her son Kevin, his wife Stacy, and her grandchildren Ryan, Molly, and Emma of Santa Cruz , CA.
Linda moved with her family to Normal, IL at age 4; she attended Normal Community High School, received a BA degree in psychology from the University of Illinois. In September 1968, she was hired by National Security Agency (NSA) in Ft. Meade, MD and met her husband Patrick. They were married on May 31, 1969. She retired from NSA after the birth of her son Craig, and subsequently became a CPA. They have resided in Gambrills, Arnold, and Annapolis.
Linda had a wide variety of interests and pursuits. She was involved in stock market investing, and enjoyed identifying new investments. Linda and her son Kevin were involved in bird watching, and both identified a Roseate Spoonbill while at Sanibel Island in Florida. This was the beginning of a lasting interest for them both. Linda was also an expert player of contract bridge, and routinely played bridge at Chartwell, Ginger Cove, and with a group of friends in Bay Hills. When anyone wanted to play bridge properly, they asked for her opinion.
Her visitation will be held at the Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home from 3pm to 7pm on Friday, December 22, 2023; family and friends can join the procession to the gravesite at Bestgate Memorial Park on Saturday December 23, which will leave the funeral home at 10:00 am.
