Lillian Irene Mifkovic (nee Smith), 88, of Annapolis, died on June 4, 2012 at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, MD.
She was born in Baltimore on May 15, 1924 and raised in East Baltimore. She previously lived in Pasadena, Timonium, and Severna Park.
She worked for Montgomery Ward, Fort Holabird, and then was a homemaker most of her life.
Lillian enjoyed cleaning the house, bowling, and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Irene Smith, two brothers, Edward Smith and Frank Smith, and two sisters, Doris Barnes and Irene Duvall.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Stephen Thomas Mifkovic of Annapolis; one daughter, Irene Lillian Riker; two grandchildren, Christa Riker-Sheets and Tiffany Schroeder; and two great grandchildren, Katelyn and Lillian Cate.
Family and friends may visit on Sunday, June 10th from 1pm to 5pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park. A Memorial Service will be held at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 400 Benfield Rd in Severna Park on Tuesday, June 12th, at 11am. Interment will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Seasons Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
