Lien Tran

Lien Tran, 101, of Severna Park, died of natural causes Feb. 19 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Mrs. Tran was born Aug. 20, 1906, in Canton, China, where she was raised. She moved to Vietnam at the age of 19 and lived in Saigon, Vietnam, for 54 years before moving to Glen Burnie, where she lived for 11 years. She lived in Pasadena for 17 years and moved to Severna Park one year ago.

She was a homemaker, and enjoyed walking, travelling, watching movies, listening to music, exercising and visiting friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dinh Than Le, who died in 1945.

Survivors include two sons, David Tran of Pasadena and John Chen of Perry Hall; one daughter, Lang Vuong of Severna Park; one sister, Hong Huynh of Auckland, New Zealand; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Richie Highway.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
