Lettie A. Myers, beloved wife, devoted and thoughtful friend, loving aunt, and scholar passed away on September 5th, 2013.

Despite the full time job of keeping her husband of forty years out of trouble, Lettie earned Masters Degrees in English and Theology, was a licensed realtor and taught real estate. She was an active participant in the church life of St. Martin's in the Field Episcopal Church, serving as both a regional and diocesan representative many times. Lettie's incisive mind, deep faith, sharp wit, strong will, and loving heart will live in the memories of all who knew and loved her. She will be missed.

She is survived by her husband, Rex Myers, brothers John and Joe Ward, sister-in-law Peggy Sue D'Arnese and her husband Matthew D'Arnese, nieces Rachel and Jennifer Ward and Sarah Myers, nephews Kenneth Ward and Jonathan Myers, and great nephews Jonathan James and Korey Ward.

A Celebration of Lettie's life will occur on September 14th at 1:00 PM at St. Martin's in the Field Episcopal Church, 375 Benfield Blvd, Severna Park, MD, 21146. A reception in the parish hall will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Lettie's name are made to The Ecumenical Institute of Theology, 5400 Roland Road, Baltimore, MD, 21210.
