Leonard Obremski, 73, died March 24 of congestive heart failure. He grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and became a steel worker at Jones and Laughlin Steel Corporation. He also served a tour in the U.S. Army. He later moved to Orange, CA for a few years before relocating to Annapolis, MD.
He was interested in golfing and almost any sporting event especially if it involved the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He is survived by two daughters, Carol Pohlmeyer of Millersville, MD and Lori Ali of Orange, CA. He has one son Scott Obremski of Orange, CA and wife, Euna Obremski of Riva, MD. He is also survived by daughter-in-law Linda Obremski of Orange, CA and son-in-law Paul Pohlmeyer of Millersville, MD. He was fortunate to be blessed with eight grandchildren, Kaylee, Casey, and Brett Pohlmeyer of Millersville, MD; Dana Grogger, Ryan Obremski, and Krista Birnbaum of Orange, CA; Lindsay Ali of Orange, CA and Ricky Ali of Pittsburgh, PA. He was fortunate to have 8 great grandchildren and he was formerly married to Patricia Schuminsky of Orange, CA.
He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Obremski.
