Leonard Francis Donaldson, Jr., 79, died November 16, at Anne Arundel Medical Center, after a long illness.
He was born in Washington D.C. and lived the last 44 years in Cape St. Claire.
He served 5 years in the U.S. Army, before entering the private work force, retiring in 1990.
He was preceded in death by a son, Chris, one sister, and one brother.
Surviving him is his wife of 55 years, Patricia; son, Steven; four sisters; and five brothers.
Family and friends may visit on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a service to begin at 11:00 AM at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Annapolis.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Cape St. Claire United Methodist Church, 855 Chestnut Tree Drive, Annapolis, MD 21409.
