Leona True

Leona Martha True, 85, a resident of Pasadena for 32 years, and previously of Glen Burnie, died of natural causes Jan. 4 at her home.

She was born Dec. 27, 1922, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

Mrs. True worked as a supervisor at the Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles and previously as a credit manager with Spiegel.

She was a member and treasurer of the Guild for Life and a volunteer with the American Cancer Society and Partners In Care.

Survivors include her husband of over 60 years, Louis P. True Sr.; one son, Louis P. True Jr. of Columbia; one daughter, Carol Slicher of Pasadena; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
