Leona Lorraine "Hayden" Neubauer, 78, a resident of Pasadena for 78 years, died of natural causes Nov. 24 at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center after a two-month illness.

Born Feb. 15, 1929, in Baltimore, the daughter of the late Bernard and Juanita Schillinger Hayden, Mrs. Neubauer was reared in Pasadena and graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1946.

Mrs. Neubauer was a homemaker who enjoyed camping, crocheting, shopping and spending time with family.

She was the widow of John T. Neubauer Jr., whom she married in 1955. He died Feb. 1, 1979. She was also the sister of the late Paul "Ike," Melvin "Reds," and James D. Hayden Sr. Surviving are one son, Thomas Neubauer of Annapolis; five brothers, Ronald, Eugene "Peck," Johnnie and Roland Hayden, all of Pasadena, and Edward "Pete" Hayden of Crapo, Md.; and one sister, Dorothy "Mush" Greenwell of Pasadena.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, where memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Burial is private. Online condolences can be made at www.barrancofuneralhome.com
