Leaston Vernon Booker, Jr., recently of Clermont FL, passed away on October 13, 2020.

He was born to Cora (Beatty) and Leaston Booker, Sr. on October 17, 1935 in Annapolis, MD.

Leaston attended Glen Burnie High school and received his Bachelor's degree from University of Baltimore. He was stationed in Tokyo, in the military police and worked with the canine department. In 1957, he joined the Maryland State Police and retired in 1989 as a Lt. Colonel. In 1958, he married Rosalie Ann (Miller).

Leaston was an avid reader, traveler and loved anything military. He also loved cruising, and spent many enjoyable cruises with his wife. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Rosalie Ann Booker of Severna Park; his son, Robert Booker of Severna Park; Susan Robey of Severna Park; three grandsons, five great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.
