Lawrence E. Jahns, 74, a resident of Glen Burnie, died on December 12, 2012 at his home.
He was born on May 13, 1938 , was raised in Linthicum Heights, and graduated from Brooklyn Park High School in 1956 (1st graduating class).
Lawrence worked as a Communication and Signals Operations Inspector for Amtrak Railroad until his retirement.
He was a member of the Snyders Willow Grove Rod and Gun Club and the Moose Club and he enjoyed golfing, bowling, and hunting.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Dolores A. Jahns of Glen Burnie; two daughters, Donna Schultz of Glen Burnie and Lynn Bovard of Raleigh, NC; and four grandchildren, Trent, Dalton, and twins, Phoenix and Hunter.
All services and interment will be private.
