Lalah Ruth Benner, resident of Pasadena, MD, passed away of natural causes on July 7, 2011; born on April 12, 1924 and raised in Cumberland, Kentucky. She retired from Westinghouse after 30 years of service; her interests included being with her family, gardening, sewing and dancing. Surviving family include her daughter Joyce Rechner, granddaughter Janet Lang, and 2 great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Robert.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 13th from 7-9pm. A funeral service will take place at 10:00am on Thursday at the funeral home with the interment to follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association; P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011.
