Kristen Jeanne Trader, 44, a lifelong resident of Severna Park, MD, died suddenly at her home Friday morning, July 11, 2008.

Born on November 27, 1963 to Jack and Patricia Trader in Baltimore, MD, Kris moved to Severna Park as a young child. She graduated Severna Park High School in 1981.

Kris was active in several social clubs including American Legion Post # 175 and Elks lodge # 2608. She enjoyed gardening and entertaining family and friends. Being an extremely compassionate pet lover, Kris and daughter Jessi housed numerous cats and dogs, the latest being Dachshund's Pepper and Dot. Kris had worked for the last 6 years as store manager for Cosmoprof, a wholesale beauty products supply company.

She was preceded in death by her sister Laura Jeanne Trader, father, John F. Trader, brother, John K. Trader and nephew, Paul Michael Trader.

Daughter of the late John "Jack" Trader, Kris is survived by her daughter Jessi Hall of Severna Park, MD, mother, Patricia and step-father Charles Burke of Edgewater, brother Ken Trader of Boise, Idaho, brother Scott Trader of Arnold and longtime companion Scott Bullen of Severna Park.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 17 at 12:00 pm at Chesapeake Christian Fellowship Church, 377 West Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD 21035. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to John Hopkins Childrens Center

Interment will be private.
