Kimberly (Kim) G. Schmidt died unexpectedly on January 2, 2018. She was 51. Kimberly was born on January 21, 1966 in Delaware and graduated from Glasgow (DE) High School in 1983. Upon graduation, she attended Delaware Technical School and started working for MBNA a year later.

Kim married J. Victor Logothetis on September 28, 1991 and they had two boys, Tyler and Austin.

Kim married Mark E. Schmidt on June 10, 2006 and moved to Severna Park, Maryland. After moving to Maryland, Kim worked for Bank of America, Nordstrom, worked as a self-employed licensed make-up artist, Capital One and Rip's Delicatessen and Restaurant in Bowie where she worked until her death.

Kim was a devoted mother who loved, supported and adored her two sons. She enjoyed walks at the neighborhood beach with her family and dogs, making crafts and shopping. She was patient, understanding, had a big heart, positive attitude and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Survivors are Tyler, her son of Severna Park; Austin, her son of Jacksonville; her father, William Gregg of Auburn, Alabama; her mother, Sharon Lawler of Jacksonville; J. Victor Logothetis, father of the boys, of Newark (DE), Mark Schmidt, her continued friend and supporter. Kim is also survived by Gina Reich, of Newark, DE and her beloved dog, Sophie and guinea pigs, Elvis, Comet and Max, all of Severna Park.

A Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday January 11, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8:00p.m. at Barranco & Sons,P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. A funeral/memorial service will be held on Friday, January 12th at 11:00 am at the Severna Park United Methodist Church.
