Kimberly Anita Cornett Bouffard "Kim" 58 of Edgewater, Maryland, lost her battle to ovarian cancer on November 7, 2022. Born in Indianapolis Indiana on January 21, 1964, she was the oldest daughter of Gene and Brenda Cornett. She was raised in Western Howard County, a graduate of Glenelg High School, a Political Science Major at UMBC, and an educator in Baltimore, MD.
She is survived by husband Dr. Robert Bouffard and three children; Julianna Martinez and husband Remso, Alexander Bouffard and wife Corrine, and Nick Bouffard. She has two grandchildren, Evangelia "Evie" and Theo. In addition, she is survived by her sisters Rebecca, Carla, Laurie and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Kim loved to read, write and her greatest joy was raising her children and loving on her grandbabies. Her vibrant personality made her memorable to all she met.
Family and friends may visit on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD, 21146. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 10:00am at Riva Trace Baptist Church, 475 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD,21035; reception will follow at church. Interment will be on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 1:00pm at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD, 21032.
