Kevin William Lowery, 39, passed away at home surrounded by his family on July 12, 2011 after a yearlong battle with leukemia.

Kevin, a lifetime resident of Cape St. Claire was born on October 18, 1971 in Baltimore, MD. Kevin graduated from Broadneck High School in 1990 then continued onto Catonsville Community College to become a Master Automotive Technician for General Motors. Kevin worked for Oldsmobile GM in Glen Burnie, MD from 1997-2003. In 2003, Kevin graduated from the Computer Career Institute at Johns Hopkins University where he received a Master's Certificate in MS Windows 2000. Kevin received multiple computer certifications throughout his career, and worked for ICF Jacob & Sundstrom as a Network Engineer for the remainder of his career.

Kevin enjoyed spending time with his friends & family either in person, or via social network. Kevin was very outspoken, and always had an incredible view on life. Kevin was a very kind & selfless man who would always put others needs before his own.

Kevin is survived by his parents William & Doris Lowery; Grandmother Marie Price; siblings Kelly & Kristopher (Jackie) Lowery; niece & nephew Julia Robinson & Kristopher Lowery.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, July 15, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Baldwin United Methodist Church Cemetery in Millersville, MD.
