Kevin "Kejoe" Joseph Barry, 30, of Abingdon, Md., in Harford County, died of leukemia July 15 at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York after a lengthy illness.
Born June 24, 1974, in Washington, D.C., the son of Ireen Dryburgh-Barry of Arnold and George J. Barry of Annapolis, Mr. Barry graduated from Broadneck High School in 1993, where he excelled in soccer, baseball and football.
Mr. Barry served in the Marines.
He worked as an electrician for the University of Maryland athletics program at the Comcast Center in College Park.
Among his interests were sports of all kinds.
In addition to his parents, surviving are his wife, Diane Barry; one brother, Cameron Barry of Arnold; and his grandmother, Teresa Dryburgh of Beltsville.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial is private.
