Kenneth E. Lore Jr. "Ken," 87, of Severna Park, MD, passed away at his home on December 19, 2023, surrounded by his family.  Ken was born in Prince Frederick, MD, on June 6, 1936, to Rebecca Downs Lore and Kenneth E. Lore Sr.  He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Lore, of 57 years, two children, Kristin Mackin of Awendaw, SC, and Ken Lore III of Bel Air, MD, and their spouses Lee Mackin and Kristin Lore.  Ken leaves three beautiful grandchildren, Grace, Olivia and Nathan.

Ken grew up in Solomons, MD and graduated from the University of Maryland in 1959. He served in the US Army between 1959 and 1961, where he was stationed in Incheon, Korea.  After returning from overseas, Ken served in the Maryland National Guard and worked for the National Security Agency in Boston, MA and Fort Meade, MD. He retired from NSA after 35 years of service.

Ken was a kind and gentle soul who enjoyed working with his hands, building boat models, working in the yard and doing jigsaw puzzles.  He loved spending time with his family and being at the beach.  A private family burial will be held at a later date.
