Keith Ziegler, 49, a resident of Rosedale, died suddenly at his home due to a house fire on July 7, 2013.

Keith was born on February 4, 1964 in Baltimore and was raised in Catonsville, Columbia, Severna Park, and Glen Arm. He later lived in Arnold and Canton prior to moving to Rosedale twelve years ago. He attended Dulaney High School, West Nottingham Academy, Anne Arundel Community College, St. Mary's College, and Dale Carnegie Training. Over the years he was employed with RSC, United Rentals and Volvo Rents. He enjoyed movies, swimming, boating, Rock and Roll, playing the guitar, but most of all, spending time with his son, Ethan.

In addition to his son, Keith is survived by his mother, Rosalie "Lee" Zillig, and stepfather, David Zillig of Arnold; father, Richard E. Ziegler of Rock Hall; brother, Richard Scott Ziegler and his wife, Kay of Baton Rouge, LA; niece and Goddaughter, Christine Ziegler; niece, Michelle Ziegler; aunt, Suzanne Taber Fair; uncle, John Taber (Pat) and cousins, John, Keely , Terri , Kim , Hallie and Adriana, as well as numerous 2nd cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robinn Ziegler and his grandparents, Rosalie and Noble Taber and Helen and Elwood Ziegler.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 5:30pm at the Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. Severna Park, MD 21146. A light buffet will follow in the Parish Hall.
