Kay Charlene Miller, 71, of Annapolis, MD, died peacefully with her family by her side on January 9th, 2014, after a prolonged illness.
She was born on January 26th, 1942 in Benton Harbor, Michigan, and graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1960. After attending a Western Michigan University, she graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University in 1966.
A devoted wife and mother, she was first a homemaker, nurturing three children into adulthood. As a Reiki practitioner and master, committed to the principles of kindness, calm, and gratitude, she used her skills in this practice to offer comfort to those in distress or experiencing difficult times.
Kay is survived by Lewis Miller, her high school sweetheart and beloved husband of forty-nine years; by her devoted daughter, Katherine Spasaro of Arnold, MD; by her two dear sons, L. Steven Miller of Silver Spring, MD, and Kevin Miller of Annapolis, MD; and by her seven cherished grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Barry Lee Baker of Coloma, MI and Robert Craig Baker of Watervliet, MI.
