Katie Louise Barker, 68, a resident of Arnold and a former resident of Blackstone, Va., died at home with her family Oct. 2 after a lengthy illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Barker; her parents, Katie and James Teague; and her sister, Mary Newcomb.
Katie is survived by two daughters, Theresa Hippler and Lyn Harbison; two sons, James Webber Jr., and Keith Barker; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Devon and Allen Teague; and sister, Edna Churchwell.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5 at Calvary United Methodist Church.
