Helen Kathy Graham Saveleski, 63, a resident of Annapolis, MD died on February 18, 2010 at Corsica Hills Nursing Center in Centreville.

She was born on January 23, 1947 in Cumberland, MD where she was raised, and graduated from Ursuline High School in Cumberland. She received her AA Degree from Allegheny Community College.

Kathy was first secretary at the former Our Lady of the Cape Catholic Church in Cape St. Claire and continued the position when the church became St. Andrews By the Bay Catholic Church. Kathy helped form the Christmas Tree of Compassion and Religious Education (Prep) classes at the Church.

She enjoyed camping, nature, ocean, crabbing, and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her late father, James (Pat) Graham and late sister, Patricia Kursban.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, David T. Saveleski of Annapolis;mother, Jayne Woodall Graham of Indianapolis, IN; sons, Michael D. Saveleski of Annapolis and David T. Saveleski, Jr. of Middletown, PA; daughter, Christina M. Calhoon of Annapolis; four grandchildren; and brothers, David Graham of Indiana and James Graham of Bowie, MD.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, February, 26, 2010 at 9:30 AM at St. Andrew By the Bay in Annapolis. Interment will follow in MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
